Analysis services

NextSeq550

Overview

This service is used for sequencing analysis with Illumina Next-Generation Sequencing (NextSeq550). Library preparation will be done by yourself, and SignAC will only perform the sequence and deliver raw data (bcl files) or fastq data. In principle, you will purchase all lanes of the kit.

Sample Submission Guidelines

Prepared illumina sequence library
  • Pool all samples, adjust the concentration to 4 nM, 2 nM, 1 nM, or 0.5 nM, and submit at least the specified volume listed below in a 1.5 ml DNA LoBind tube.
  • Please specify the loading concentration on your Redmine ticket.
We often apply 1.5–1.8 pM as a loading concentration for NextSeq550.

NextSeq550 required sample amount
4 nM15 µl or more
2 nM30 µl or more
1 nM60 µl or more
0.5 nM120 µl or more
  • Write your name and the Redmine ticket number down on your sample tube.

Data Delivery

fastq files (or raw data)
  • For Kyoto University researchers: We will provide you with a link to download your data.
  • For outside of Kyoto University researchers: We will prepare an encrypted external hard disk drive or flash memory stick with your data.
  • Please submit a sample sheet to demultiplex and create fastq files.

Please refer to the Illumina website for instructions on how to create a sample sheet.

  • Illumina Experiment Manager
  • The sample sheet (sample) can be downloaded from the link below.

Please pay attention to the direction of index 2.
