Overview

This service analyzes the RNA concentration and RIN analysis on Agilent Technologies’ TapeStation system using either the RNA kit (RNA quality check) or the RNA High Sensitivity kit (ultra-trace RNA quality check).

Sample Submission Guidelines

RNA quality check (TapeStation RNA)

• Sample concentration： 25 ng/µl or more.
• Volume (additional to the RNA-seq analysis, if applicable)：4 µl or more.
• Samples should be in 1.5 ml tubes simply and clearly labeled with [# Ticket number], [Name], and [Sample no.].
• We recommend the use of DNA Low bind tubes.
• 8-strip tubes can be used for 8 or more samples, or 96-well plates for 24 or more samples.

Quality check of ultra-low amount of RNA (TapeStation High Sensitivity RNA)

• Sample concentration：0.5 ng/µl or more.
• Volume (Apart from RNA-seq analysis)：4 µl or more.
• Samples should be in 1.5 ml tubes simply and clearly labeled with [# Ticket number], [Name], and [Sample no.].
• We recommend the use of DNA Low bind tubes.
• 8-strip tubes can be used for 8 or more samples, or 96-well plates for 24 or more samples.

Data Delivery

Report file (pdf) exported by Agilent software, including RNA concentration and RIN.

• If you require raw data (in a form that can be analyzed by Agilent software), e.g., for smear analysis, please contact us in advance.
