DNA QC (Quality check of NGS libraries together with quantification using Thermo Fisher Qubit System and TapeStation High Sensitivity D5000 kit: 50 bp–5,000 bp)

Overview

This service analyzes short DNA fragments, such as libraries for short-read sequencing, by measuring DNA concentration with Thermo Scientific’s Qubit 1x dsDNA High sensitivity kit and analyzing with Agilent Technologies’ TapeStation system using the D5000 high sensitivity kit.

Sample Submission Guidelines

  • Sample concentration:10 pg/µl or more.
  • Volume:4 µl or more.
  • Samples should be in 1.5 ml tubes simply and clearly labeled with [# Ticket number], [Name], and [Sample no.].
  • We recommend the use of DNA Low bind tubes.
  • 8-strip tubes can be used for 8 or more samples, or 96-well plates for 24 or more samples.
  • Please submit a list of sample names and concentrations measured with Nanodrop, e.g., as an Excel file.
As measurement in Qubit is included in the analysis plan, we do not necessarily request the concentration of each sample.
  • If the concentration measured by Qubit is lower than the lower limit of the above range, analysis may not be possible. In such cases, the fee will still be charged as a matter of principle.

Data Delivery
