Long-fragment DNA QC (FemtoPulse: 1.3 kb–165 kb)

Overview

This service is for the analysis of long DNA fragments, such as genomic DNA, using Agilent Technologies’ Femto Pulse system. 1.3 to 165 kb of DNA can be analyzed.

Sample Submission Guidelines

  • Sample concentration：250 pg/µl or more.
  • Volume：6 µl or more.
  • Samples should be in 1.5 ml tubes simply and clearly labeled with [# Ticket number], [Name], and [Sample no.].
  • We recommend the use of DNA Low bind tubes.
  • 8 tubes can be used for 8 or more samples, or 96-well plates for 24 or more samples.
  • Please submit a list of sample names and concentrations measured with Nanodrop, e.g., as an Excel file.
    As measurement in Qubit is included in the analysis plan, we do not necessarily request the concentration of each sample.

  • If the concentration measured by Qubit is lower than the lower limit of the above range, analysis may not be possible. In such cases, the fee will still be charged as a matter of principle.

  • If you require raw data (in a form that can be analyzed by Agilent software), e.g., for smear analysis, please contact us in advance.
