Dr. Tadashi Ogawa, Dr. Tomoki Shimizu, and Makoto Shida of the ASHrBi Research Acceleration Unit presented a poster on how to disseminate the research story effectively to different audiences at the 8th Annual Meeting of RMAN-J (The Research Manager and Administrator Network in Japan) held in Sendai on August 30 and 31, 2022.
Tomoki Shimizu presented the importance of disseminating the research story in the international news release both by text and illustrations, and the methods for acquiring necessary information from the researchers in constructing effective news releases.
Makoto Shida presented the importance of incorporating the reviewer’s point of view in constructing the research story for KAKENHI grant applications and the showed the easy to understand diagram of the review process as well as the evaluation criteria. These items were presented at the English KAKENHI Writing Seminar held online on August 5 which was mainly targeted for young foreign researchers in Japan.
