The most of scientific projects require years of efforts and the press release is the final step of your project. But how would you get the attention on your project from globally?
In this seminar, we will invite Mr. Brian Lin, Director of AAAS’ EurekAlert! as an instructor. He has over 20 years’ experience as a science communicator and currently oversees the strategy of editorial contents. He will share practical tips for researchers, students and communication staffs to work together more effectively to attain international coverage for their scientific research.

After leading the media training program at the University of British Columbia, he moved to AAAS’ EurekAlert!, non-profit science news platfrom operated by AAAS, in 2014. He currently oversees editorial content strategy at EurekAlert!. Since his arrival, EurekAlert! has successfully tripled the number of visitors.
