We will have ASHBi Seminar with Dr. Jerome N. Sanes from Department of Neuroscience Robert J. and Nancy D. Carney Institute for Brain Research, Brown University Providence, RI, USA as a lecturer.
Professor Sanes received his PhD from the University of Rochester and conducted postdoctoral work at the National Institute of Mental Health. He currently studies brain mechanisms of voluntary movement, motor learning and non-image forming vision using neuroimaging, neurophysiology, and behavioral methods in healthy adults and individuals with brain disorders. He has published approximately 90 scientific articles, with work appearing in Science, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, the Journal of Neuroscience, the Journal of Neurophysiology, Cerebral Cortex, and other leading neuroscience journals. While advancing the field’s understanding of the basic neurobiology of voluntary movement and learning and non-image forming vision , his work also relates to developing technology based rehabilitative strategies for patients with brain disorders.
If you have any interest in the topic, you are welcome to attend this seminar.
