Dr Motoko Yanagita selected to Baelz Prize

On 2 November 2020, Professor Motoko Yanagita, principal investigator of the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Biology (ASHBi), has been selected to the second prize of the 57th Baelz Prize. The award ceremony will take place in 2021.

The Baelz Prize was established in 1964 by the German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim to promote international German-Japanese cooperation in the field of medical research and to support the research activities of medical societies in Japan. Every year, the prize committee selects the prize winners from the academic papers of a specific field in medicine.
