カニクイザルの生殖工学・発生工学は、その飼育管理の難しさやリソース不足からマウスと比較して技術的成熟が遅れている。我々はマウスを用いて新規の遺伝子改変技術を開発するとともに、カニクイザルへ迅速に応用することで霊長類モデル動物を作出することを目指す。
