Into the Abyss: Entering the Minds of Scientific Editors and Understanding Journal Strategies

Strategy is vital for ensuring victory in any battle. This also holds true with publishing scientific papers. In this seminar, Dr. Spyros Goulas — a former scientific editor at Cell Press — will reveal the mindset of editors and the factors defining journal strategies that impact the decision-making processes of papers. He will also provide strategies/tips on how you can utilize this to your selective advantage in order to publish your work more efficiently. ALL levels of students, researchers, and PIs are welcome!
