How to use

Available for ASHBi PI group members, but only after taking an essential course.
Please make a reservation before use in our booking system.

Usage fee will be charged (Price List).
Please record usage logs via Google Forms when you use the equipment.

Lens cleaner, cotton swab, and lens paper are provided by SignAC. If there is no stock, please contact SignAC.

＜Reservation Rules＞

Regarding time restriction for equipment booking:
-From 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays (i.e. working core time), you can only make one reservation of not exceeding 4 hours per day.
-However, the above time restriction rule is not applied to the use outside of the working core time.
-Also, it is allowed to make extra reservations when you find a vacant time slot on the day of the usage.
-In case you are willing to perform long-time live imaging etc. for longer than 4 hours in the working core time, please contact SignAC (ashbi-signac-office@mail2.adm.kyoto-u.ac.jp). We will make a reservation for you.

Regarding live-imaging:
-When planning to use the incubation chamber for live imaging (no matter how short the time duration is), please indicate it in your reservation in the booking system, so that others can know in advance that the temperature or gas concentration has been changed.
-When reserving live-imaging, please reserve it one hour longer than the actual use. Also, please write “Live-imaging (**°C ← indicate operating temperature)” in the reservation name.
