Meet the Editor – Editorial Perspectives at EMBO Press : towards optimized publishing and open science
We hosted a seminar on March 14, 2023 with Daniel Klimmeck, a Senior Editor at EMBO Journal.
In this seminar, Daniel Klimmeck shed light on how manuscripts are evaluated at EMBO Journal and also discussed the different options currently available to authors for submitting their papers, including journal independent opportunities. Lastly, he presented the details behind the new Catalysts program, recently launched by EMBO Journal, which was oriented towards giving the next generation group leaders a stronger voice in all aspects of publishing at their journal.
Approximately 50 participants gathered in the audience for an enthusiastic question-and-answer session following the presentation.
