We are pleased to announce that the Kyoto-Vienna biomath workshop organized by Seirin PI and Dr. Diez@Mathematical Biology and Medicine group will be held on 1–2 December 2022 at the Erwin Schrödinger Institute (Vienna) as part of the scientific program Mathematical Methods for the Study of Self-organization in the Biological Sciences.

This workshop is funded by the “KU-UNIVIE Joint Grant Program” of Kyoto University and the University of Vienna, and also by the Erwin Schrödinger Institute (ESI) for its financial support and hosting the event. The workshop is also financially supported by funding bodies in Austria: Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), as well as the Japanese funding Henkaku A (KAKENHI) “Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas(A)”.

This event is embedded in the ESI program Mathematical Methods for the Study of Self-organization in the Biological Sciences.
