[開催報告] EMBO | The Company of Biologists Workshop: Molecular mechanisms of developmental and regenerative biology

2022年4月26–29日に、EMBO | The Company of Biologists Workshopをオンライン開催しました。本ワークショップには、国内外から514名の研究者・学生（海外からは280名）が登録し、4日間で約1,200名が参加しました。

本ワークショップでは、初期発生において多能性幹細胞からの細胞運命決定、分化中の幹細胞と幹細胞ニッチの相互作用、体細胞と生殖細胞が分化する際の時間的・空間的制御について議論します。胚、組織構造形成および器官形成におけるパターン形成を理解するための実験モデルである、胚様体とオルガノイドにおける様々な組織にわたる複雑な相互作用を議論します。数理モデリングのアプローチが、定量的な物理法則が細胞の運命決定を理解するのに、どのように役立つかを明らかにします。細胞の損傷や欠損に対する反応、および異常な表現型に至る発生動態を研究することによって、再生生物学に対する新しい洞察を提示します。
