研究概要

Mathematical modeling and modeling analysis in biology

My research focuses on addressing biological problems using mathematical tools, leading the mathematical result to the biological discussion, and exploring the application of theoretical insights in the life sciences. Specifically, I have worked on the construction of mathematical models with ordinary differential equations to understand the complex interplay between social behavior and infectious disease transmission. The emergence and spread of infectious diseases pose significant challenges to public health, shaped by a range of biological, environmental, and social factors. Employing mathematical modeling and model analysis allows us to clarify the characteristics of these complex phenomena.
I am also interested in developing reasonable models using stochastic and partial differential equations. Through the application of numerical simulation, the development of such models could serve as invaluable tools for unravelling the biological systems and understanding the biological complexities. Collaborating with interdisciplinary researchers to address medical challenges is one of the important aspects that I am pursuing. I am highly motivated to contribute to conducting research in interdisciplinary projects with clinical medicine by engaging in cutting-edge research that advances our understanding in human biology.
