We invited Dr. Katie Pollard (Professor at UCSF, Gladstone Institute) for an ASHBi Distinguished seminar.
The seminar title was "Decoding the Evolutionary Histories and Functions of Human Accelerated Region"
Dr. Pollard gave an impressive lecture on her research on comparative genomics and the discovery of the Human Accelerated Regions.
It was a very successful seminar with many people participating.
