The Seifunankai High School Students visited ASHBi

On March 13, 2026, the Seifunankai High School Students (27 students, 3 teachers) visited ASHBi.

Prof. Seirin-Lee (PI) delivered presentations on mathematical modeling. Using skin diseases as an example, Prof. Seirin-Lee demonstrated how mathematical theories are applied to solve complex medical problems. This was followed by sessions with Asst. Prof.  Tsutsumi, Dr. Hirota (SignAC) and Asst. Prof. Mizuta (Saitou G), who gave lectures on their research project and shared advice on career path.

In the afternoon, the students took a tour of the ASHBi facilities, including the SignAC, the microscopy facility and the tissue culture facility.
