The "Emergent Research Support Program" is a program that supports free and challenging research by a variety of researchers, mainly young researchers, for up10 to a year while ensuring an environment in which they can concentrate on their research. This year, we held the first2 call for applications for this program, and we received many more applications than the 2,300number of applicants, and 259two young and challenging researchers were selected.
