I aim to elucidate the essential issues related to blood cells and blood diseases, with a focus on hematopoietic stem cells.

Biography
After graduating from Kyoto University School of Medicine in 2001, he worked as a resident at Kyoto University Hospital and Japanese Red Cross Wakayama Medical Center. 2004-2009 Doctoral Program, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University (Prof. Takashi Uchiyama). 2009-2014, Postdoctoral fellow at Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo (Prof. Hiromitsu Nakauchi). 2014-2015 Postdoctoral fellow at Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Stanford University School of Medicine, California (Prof. Hiro Nakauchi) 2015-2020 Research associate at the same institution. From 2020, Associate Professor at the Advanced Study of Human Biology (ASHBi), Kyoto University, and from 2021, SunRiSE Fellow.

Hello, my name is Shinichiro. I'm basically belonging to Department of Hematology and Oncology, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, but thankfully I had the opportunity to study in Ryo Yamamoto Group. I'm interested in the biology of hematopoietic stem cells and also eager to study bioinformatics.

Biography
After graduating from Shiga University of Medical Science in 2014, he entered the Department of Hematology and Oncology, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. He joined the Ryo Yamamoto Laboratory in 2020. He has been a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC2) since 2022.

I was born and raised in Osaka.
After graduating from high school, I spent 41 years in the laboratory at a pharmaceutical company.
After graduating from high school, he worked for 41 years in a pharmaceutical company's research laboratory, mainly in cell culture and screening of low-molecular compounds.
In her 40s, she decided to take a leap of faith and graduated from Kyoto Institute of Technology at night.
Now that I'm retired, I want to continue my fun research, so I've been working in Prof. Yamamoto's laboratory.
I am a lively Osaka woman, but my motto is sincerity and honesty in my research.
