The Asahigaoka High School Science Seminar Club visited ASHBi
On December 22, 2025, the Asahigaoka High School Science Seminar Club (20 students, 2 teachers) visited ASHBi.
Dr. Amemori (PI) and Mr. Ito (Graduate student) delivered presentations on neuroscience.

Dr. Amemori explained the neural circuit involved in anxiety and depression,

while Mr. Ito discussed about his research and offered advice on career development.
Then, Dr. Inoue and Dr. Tsujimura (SignAC Core Manager) gave lectures on genome science.

Dr. Inoue spoke about evolution using the latest phylogenetic tree and described the basic features of genome.

Dr. Tsujimura explained technological advancements in genome research and gene expression mechanisms.
Finally, the participants took a tour of the ASHBi building, which included the SignAC facility and the shared laboratories.
