Dr. Nadav Ahituv, Professor of Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences and Director for the Institute for Human Genetics at UCSF, is a leading scientist in the field of functional genomics. Dr. Ahituv is renowned for his large-scale functional analyses of cis-regulatory elements in the human genome and the development of CRISPR-based cis-regulation therapies. In this seminar, he will discuss these cutting-edge technologies, their applications, and future directions in functional genomics.
