Writing Seminar for JSPS DC1/DC2 Doctoral Course Fellowship

DC1/DC2 Fellowship: Launchpad for Your Doctoral Research!

The Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1/DC2 Fellowship) funded by JSPS is Japan’s most prestigious program, supporting exceptional doctoral students in pursuing innovative and independent research. Open to both Japanese and international graduate students, the fellowship provides awardees with monthly stipends and research grants.

However, the application process and evaluation criteria are primarily provided in Japanese, making it challenging for international students to prepare competitive applications independently.

Therefore, this English seminar aims to bridge the gap by providing you with:

  • The program overview and evaluation system to highlight the key elements needed
  • Effective storytelling strategy incorporating the reviewer’s perspective to make your application clear, impactful, and easy to understand.

If you are planning to apply for the DC1/DC2 Fellowship this year, or in the future, then this seminar is for you!

Both international and Japanese graduate students are welcome to attend, so sign up now to prepare for the DC1/DC2 Fellowship!
