We are pleased to host ASHBi-CiRA Bioethics Lecture with Dr. Toyoko Kozai from Bukkyo University as a lecturer on January 25, 2023.
Dr. Kozai is a professor of medical sociology at Bukkyo University and has long studied the relationship between the body and society from a historical perspective. In this lecture, she will report on the history and current status of the medical use of the human body in Japan.
This will be a valuable opportunity to review the historical background leading up to the research use of rapid autopsy tissue, an area of growing interest in recent years. All interested parties are cordially invited to attend.
