The Alev Lab participated in the ASHBi Retreat held in February 2026 at Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara, a dynamic and inspiring event bringing together researchers across disciplines. We are proud to announce that Dr. Amel Nasri, and her teammates Dr. Gil Carracco, Dr. Keuntae Kim, and Ms. Feray Cosar received the Best Presentation Award! We sincerely thank ASHBi and the organizing committee for this honour and for fostering such a stimulating scientific environment.

We gathered for a heartfelt farewell lunch at a Nepalese restaurant to say goodbye to Yeon Joon Chu, who is returning to South Korea to complete his PhD.
