Deciphering the genetic and epigenetic landscapes of the human genome is crucial for understanding the molecular basis of human biology, evolution, and disease. In my project, I will utilize multi-omics data, including RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and ATAC-seq, derived from diverse cell types and species, to identify human-specific genetic and epigenetic features in the genome. Additionally, I will integrate these diverse data types and develop advanced bioinformatics tools to uncover novel insights into the genome within the context of human evolution and disease.

略歴

Troyee completed her Masters in Microbiology from University of Calcutta (2016) and PhD in the field of Computational and Molecular Biology from Bose Institute UAC (September 2024). She joined ASHBi, Kyoto University as a Program-Specific Researcher in December 2024.
